So here goes nothing... :)
This is my side table in my kitchen. I don't usually do a lot of
fall decorating inside, you should see my house at Christmas though.
There's a Christmas tree in every room. Even the bathroom. What can I say
I am a bit of a Christmas freak...
Getting back on track, I have seen these super cute frames
on several other blogs. I am still learning how to do all of this so I apologize
for not linking up to those of you out there who have done this project. These frames all came from the Dollar Tree. The table runner is just two dishtowels from the Dollar Tree laid end to end.
I just dug some fall colored scrapbook paper out of my paper box & cut it to fit the 5x7 frames...
...then used my trusty Cricut machine to cut out the letters & used a glue stick to
adhere the them. I may end up painting the frames black so I can reuse them
for other seasons, but for now I am just going to leave them red, I just
love red! There's the perfect number of frames to spell out
"Winter", "Spring", & "Summer" too! How exciting is that!
Inexpensive & reusable!
I have been wanting to make this wreath for the past couple of years & finally got
around to doing it. All of the wonderful craft blogs out there have really inspired me
to get crafting & decorating! Anyway, I saw this wreath in a Gooseberry Patch book &
have been collecting the stuff to make it for a while now. I just used an old grapevine wreath that I got at my Granny's yard sale & lots of Dollar Tree flowers & veggies (the Sunflowers came from Walmart, I think they were around $2 each.) & got started. First, I laid it all out on my wreath to make sure I liked the way it looked. Then, I got out my glue gun & started glue like crazy. I wrapped the wreath with some ribbon that I got on clearance for less
than a dollar at my local craft store....
...tucked in a cute vintage hankie...
...& of course I had to include the cute little drawing my son made...
...& wa la...here's my wreath. Inexpensive, quick & easy.
I hope you all have a blessed day!! Happy Crafting!
Great start! Love you Girlie! Miss decorating with you at this time of year. --Kim
